Angling Competition

E-mail Print PDF

The first Angling competition for quite a while was held on 27th September at Laxey.   The results were as follows:

In first place was Jamie Bisset with a bass.  He will hold the Ian Haddington trophy for the coming year.

Second place went to Fred Crowe with a coley.  Fred also took third place with the heaviest dogfish.

Cash prizes went to the first three places.

Devereaux's kindly donated a box of sand eels (worth about £50) which was raffled between all entrants.

Following the success of the event it is hoped that more competitions will be arranged for the future.

Thanks go to Marti and Jayne for organising this one.
